NUMBER ONE

I created NUMBER ONE based on a reality I experienced.

I’m an Uber driver in Florida, a father of two, and for a long time, I worked day and night without managing to build real savings. I could work hard, drive for hours, earn a little money, but every time I started to put something aside, a problem would arise and force me to spend everything.

It was always the same story.

THE DECISION

One day, I decided to break this cycle.

I made a firm decision: to keep the first money I wanted to save and not touch it. No matter the problem, no matter the pressure, that money had to remain protected.

So, I took a bill and placed it behind my phone, under my case. This bill became my personal reminder.

Every time I touched my phone, I remembered one thing:

I set myself a simple rule: only use the money needed for food, gas, to progress in my work, and to take care of my family. The rest had to be set aside.

Little by little, I started to accumulate. A little today. A little tomorrow. A little more the following week.

When I opened my car, I saw a scene I'll never forget: a small animal, like those often seen in Florida, near trees and in the streets, was eating my card.

This moment struck me.

It was like a sign. As if life was telling me:
